Election Week!

As our country prepares to elect a new President this week, the 5th and 6th grade classes will also get the full experience of what it means to be an American citizen, and the rights that come along with it. On Tuesday, the school will be having a mock election. I encourage you to discuss with your children what your families' views are on the candidates so that they can also make an informed decision. In Social Studies we will be looking at the process of how a President actually gets elected into office. I am excited for a fun week of learning about America's past and what the present looks like with your children!
